not to get off topic... but does anyone buy LP's? i heard that they are making a comeback. just curious...my friends are passionately split on the subject.

Than makes sense...cool. Have you come across any one vendor in particular that you would recommend? Some of us are always looking.

Some yes, It depends on the CD. But for the most part, the prices are comparable. I like the fact you can get additional versions of a CD that isn't easily available. Also, I'd rather support an artist outright whenever possible. There are bands on the site selling goods and CD's which is a plus in book.

I know this is an older post but the topic seems to come up a lot. Even though amazon has a massive variety to choose from they don't necessarily carry some of the hard to find stuff. I came across notemote which has over a million related music products most of which supports the artist. That's usually a plus for me. I still look for vinyl though!
