I used 3 different Macs, always with 10.11, Jriver and Dirac Live. As I wrote more on, with gen 3 everything ok, while with Gen 5 Jriver works without Dirac , with Dirac not. But my question is: how can a hardware update be incompatible? the upgrade should be perfectly retrocompatible ?? And why does the software that works with gen 3, with gen5, can not work?

2 months ago I also sent an email to the Schiit signaling my problem, but they never answered me.

I contacted the support dirac who kindly made available to me the beta version of the new software that should be released in early 2018. But even with this version the problem has remained unresolved.

If on Yggdrasil there is usb gen 3 everything works perfectly. If on Yggi there is usb gen 5 dirac doesn't work.

My problem isn't with osx 10.11, but with Dirac.

my is a late 2011 macbook pro, sysop osx 10.11, entirely dedicated to music. Jriver and Dirac. if I use the usb gen 5 with jriver, without dirac, there is no problem. if Dirac started, and in Dirac i select usb gen 5, Dirac will not work. Jriver starts and after 1 sec hangs.

I have a macbook pro with el capitan, and gen 5 doesn't work. I had to reinstall gen 3. gen 5 conflicts with mac.

Hi, has anyone tried the Yggy, after upgrade with usb gen5, with Dirac live? it does not work.
