Thanks for the report Chris ! I did not have the chance to see you (or Alan Parsons), but apart from that, it was indeed a great show ! :-) Impossible to hear everything ! My top three rooms would be : Soulution/Magico, Avantgarde, and Estelon/MSB. The Estelon room (with Extreme mk2) was also very good. I spent too little time in the Nagra room but it did seem very good.

I am trying to set up ROCK, but I am stuck at the "Connect to ROCK the same way you would connect to any other folder on your network (not with a web browser)" phase. ROCK does not appear as a network device in W10. How should I connect to it ? Thanks for your help. Laurent

I have a question regarding sound volume with the Brooklyn. It is my first DAC with a preamp but I have connected it to my integrated amp, so I should not need the preamp function. Question is : how do you bypass/disable the preamp in the Brooklyn ?

I have the Brooklyn Dac+ and I can confirm that it does fine with DSD256. The challenge will be more to find DSD256 files... I only have an issue with DSD64 5.1 : the music starts and then stops after 2-3 seconds and I have a message from Roon saying that "An audiofile is loading slowly". So not sure if the DAC can handle these files. Maybe with a different configuration in Roon ?

I have had my Dac+ for almost a week now. It is too early to report on SQ as it is still in burn in period.

Thank you for the review. I am looking to upgrade from my M2tech Young DAC and this one is definitely on my list. At $3,250 it would be in my price range. The problem is that the retail price here in France is $5,200.
