Hello! I've just built a new music server with the following config: Case: Streacom fc5-evo MB: Asrock H87e-itx/ac CPU: Intel i5-4570T (max TDP 35W) Intel SSD SATA DVD ROM I got a 12V/6A Linear PSU for my server. However, the system can't boot up and the DVD rom have strange 'click' sound. When I remove the DVD the system can boot up normally. Is the LPS not enough power to provide for the server? Thanks!

Hello all, I've just built a new server with following configuration: Intel i5-4570T Asrock H87e-itx-AC mother board 1 SATA SSD and 1 SATA DVD-rom I've got a linear supply with 12V/6A for my server, but I found that the DVD-rom can't operate (I need to install the OS). Actually I just connect the SSD and the DVD-rom only to the picoPSU and without any pci cards. I don't know if the Linear Supply is not enough power for my server but some of the friends here said the even a Teddy PSU (12V/4A) can boot up the system. Is there any setting in the BIOS that can help the system save more power? Best Regards, Antony -
Thank you sligolad, Seems difficult to understand because I am not quite professional in hardware...... Just want to have a single AC-DC linear supply to a pico psu DC-DC, which is acceptable for my future Audio PC system.

Hello, is the Teddy Pardo 12volt 4amp PSU still works good for your Zuma? I'm now planning to bulid a Audio PC, with itx MB, 1 SSD, a 35W TDP intel cpu plus a streacom fc5 case (no optical drive). Is my configuration ok to use this linear PSU? Thank you!
