  1. Seems to work OK, though I had to re-pair the Apple remote.
  2. Sorry to wake this thread after so long. Has anyone got any further experiences to add? I'm quite interested in the Brooklyn with the Mains-Cables-R-Us/Longdog linear PSU as MCRU sell it as an add-on for the Brooklyn here in the UK.
  3. Cheers Middy - I might have to try a DC blocker. I do get a little hum on the Airlink. I've got a 2kvA model which I switch in an out for various duties, though not using at the moment.
  4. Thanks Middy. I'm taking a punt here - is your balanced PSU an Airlink? I have one of these and realised it could work well with the Mytek. I'm very interested in the DC offset filter though... i've had trouble finding cheap versions of these.
  5. Couple of questions - The upsampling to DSD256 that's been mentioned in a future firmware update - this is onboard upsampling, right? This sounds like a very interesting development and suggests there must be quite a bit of untapped processing power on the Brooklyn. Any idea when this could be available? '2017' seems to be the only clue so far. Also, it's been asked before but I can't see an answer - is the volume remote controllable in analog (attenuation) mode? Thanks!
  6. Anyone had the opportunity to try the Regen with a Melco N1A or N1Z? I have an N1A into a Devialet 200 and I'm looking for a cost-effective upgrade to my Chord Silver Plus USB cable. The Regen gives the intriguing possibility of giving a decent improvement of a 'budget' cable as opposed to splashing out on a more expensive one. My fear with the Regen is that the Melco is already optimised for clocking/jitter so the benefits may not be so significant. I guess the lower impedance/distance of the Regen to the DAC is going to be positive though. If a USB data stream is already pretty good jitter/clocking-wise will the Regen improve it over and above a poorer quality stream, or is it (as I'm assuming) going to regenerate the stream regardless of the quality of the input?
