  1. Hi, Can't help....sold mine and happily using mac+ audirvana. Cheers
  2. Right.. thanks! Anyway, I'm still waiting for Simaudio to give me a satisfactory solution to solve this problem.
  3. Jontyj, Yes, same issue as what you have describe, the only way for me to resolve this is to reboot the MiND. The most annoying part is that there's no way to know whether the upgrade is successful or not, all I can do is to look at the @&$()@ blinking light and pray it's work! As for my music, they are store on synology 213 (connected on a wired network) but with a twist...I run mimimserver instead of the default media server. I find the mimimserver tagging support much better than synology media server. However, it takes a bit of work to get mimimserver install...nothing too technical, I got it up within 15mins. Support from mimimserver is great, there's a chap call simoncn who respond promptly to my question and the wonderful part is....it's free! Anyway, as I have mention earlier..I rather pay 5 buck for bubbleupnp and save me the trouble of looking at the @()$&$ blinking light and constant rebooting of the MiND. Regards
  4. The "update" does not seem to be working for me contrary to my earlier post. I have more less given up on the new app, I'm now using bubbleupnp on my android phone, it's now working without a hitch and provide the same functionalities as what the new app claim.
  5. Hi Rich27, After following your suggestion, it seem more stable now. I will observe further and update all here if the issue crop up again. Thanks! Regards
  6. Hi All, I'm a user of MiND 180, I do face the same problem as ss4, as per recommended by Simaudio I tried updating the box (twice in fact) using their recommended steps, however I'm still facing the same issue...the problem I see is that there's no way in knowing whether the box has been updated. I'm really at a lost here as the MiND 180 is becoming unusable.
  7. No idea, but since the toslink is working, I leaving it as it is for now. Regards Edmund
  8. Hi All, This is my first post in this forum and I'm really appreciative of the wealth of information that fellow forumers gave. I have recently bought a Simaudio MinD renderer to replace my trusty Apple TV2 as I'm looking for a solutions to stream high res files store in my Synology DS213 (running Minim server) to my HIFI setup. So far, I'm pretty happy with what MiND can deliver in term of sound quality and stability. My setup is as follow: Synology D213-> Moon MiND (ethernet cable)-> Rega DAC-> Rega Brio R However, I face the following issue which I hope someone can help me with: 1) I have no issue playing 24/96 music files thru coxial interface to my Rega DAC 2) When I tried playing 24/192 files thru the coxial interface, the music just stutter 3) Switching to toslink, I have no issue of stuttering for all resolutions of music files. As per commented by Veovis, I tried switching between coxial 1 and 2 of the rega DAC but the stuttering problem still exist...from what I read on Rega DAC manual, it states that their coxial support 24/192.... I'm not sure what could be the problem...could it be the audioquest VDM-5 which I have bought recently for this purpose? Spoke to my rega DAC dealer, he tells me that "Some time equipment just don't match"....not sure whether I should buy his story. Looking forward to any helpful suggestion to solve this issue.
