  1. Hello! I had the same problem when the frequency changes. Additionaly, my DAC clicked when the frequency is 176,4 or 192 during the music playing (perhaps once or twice a minuto or so) Now I have change the DAC for a new TEAC UD-501. I have tested many options, even resampling 44,1 files to 352,8 with Audirvana and now all is working fine, without clicks. So, clearly, there was a problem with MyDac using usb 2.0 in a Macbook pro (I hadn't problems using usb 1.0 and only 96 kHz files). Thanks to all for your answers! Toni.
  2. Hello! I'm glad to see that you find a solution. I'm thinking about getting a new Dac, probably a Teac UD-501. It has some good reviews and I hope that with this Dac the problem will disappear. (well... if in my case this problem is not caused by my Mac usb!!) Thanks for yours indications, and Happy Christmas to everyone!!
  3. Hello! I have a Macbook Pro retina 15'' (late 2012), and I have some clicks with MyDAC when I upsample 44,1 khz files to 176,2 kHz. It doesn't happen I play 176,2 or 192 files, or if I upsample only to 88,2. The same with DSD64 files. If I convert them to 176,2 Khz, I can hear the same clicks, but not if I convert them to 88,2. I seems that it could be a CPU power problem, but the Mac is an i7 with 8Gb, and the CPU is always with a very little use, the same for the disk. All usb's are 3.0 and there are only 2 connectors in the MAC. One of them has the camera, and the other the keyboard and the bluetooth, so I can't find a free connector. I use the connector with the camera because it's disabled. Well, I would like to know if anyone is having this problem too, and if there is a solution. Kinds Regards, and sorry if my English is not perfect, I'm from Majorca, in Spain. Toni.
