  1. Good grief. Awesome build quality on both units. Where did you get the talent to pull this off ? I'm a semi retired Dentist who sings in a choir and plays a little trombone and I am a boat owner. But nothing like this . Congratulations, dude !
  2. Wow, that’s real DIY stuff there. Congrats and I guess you had extra time on your hands during Camp Corona ! My Yamaha AS 2100 integrated amp is a real beauty and finished to a high level. It’s a beast at 51 lbs. Love the retro look with the dual VU meters and the Wharfedale Lintons complete the retro theme. Time capsule to the 70’s....
  3. Really late reply here, but I have a Yamaha A-S2100 integrated amplifier , it does have a very detailed but slightly bright sound signature, I agree with stuck limo's post about Wharfedale being a mellow, darker speaker which is a good fit. I just received my Wharfedale Lintons with matching stands, they look fantastic and were delivered to my door (with stands) for $1498.00 . They have enough bass for most kinds of music, a great non-fatiguing treble and the midrange is stellar. There's enough bass with 8 inch woofers for most types of music, I did finally add a pair of small REL i-5 subs because they just add another dimension to certain kinds of rock music that I sometimes binge on. My final comment is that I would think the Lintons would not be that hard to find in Canada, they are found everywhere in the US, including Amazon !
  4. I too received a message to myself and 11 others that came from this site. I did not receive any messages when I logged in. I did change my password.
