  1. Hi Geoffrey, sorry for the late response. I'm using the latest version of MacOS (10.14.5) HQPlayer is the version 3.25.3 and iTunes is Version 12.9.5.5. HQPlayer works solo mode fine (96/24 and 192/24 files), when I launch your HQPlayer Server I get the following msg: Can’t get last item of {}. Can’t get last item of {}. (-1728)) Click OK, it launches iTunes but every Hi-Res music played on iTunes is output to the DAC in low resolution (according to my DAC Ayre Codex) Is the error message the issue? (I think I'm running the fastest version of your HQPlayer Server) Thanks, Alex
  2. I can see HQPlayer in the background but there is zero info or any sign of "life" for that matter from HQplayer about the file being played by iTunes, it looks like iTunes is playing by itself, Is this normal? Thanks! Alex
  3. I have been using this very useful iTunes to HQPlayer front end. Quick Q, is there a way to see if the HQPlayer is indeed working in the background while using iTunes?
  4. I have one for sale a AYRE DAC QB9 DSD (BLACK COLOR) MINT condition, this is the lasted version. $2800 paypal fee and shipping in CONUS included.
  5. My tv is a Samsung UN55D8000 (MSRP $3500) the cost of the Nordost purple flare power cord (C7) start at $150, IMHO this is a no brainer and fantastic deal to improve the video quality of your TV.
  6. My Nordost Red Dawn LS set might not be as good as Red Dawn 1984 but it definitely beat the crap out of the 2012 version! =D
  7. WDW I have bought a Nordost purple flair power cord for my Samsung TV, the improvement in the picture was incredible. I also have Nordost Red Dawn LS interconnect and speaker cable, Brahma power cord on my Prima Luna integrated, and a Nordost shiva power cord on my Hegel DAC. I have not yet sucombed to the Sort Kones but I think it is only a matter of time

  9. The DAC section of the Bel Canto C5i is not bad, but a good separate DAC like the little Concero will produce vastly superior result! (night and day really). As for the KEF I have only great things to say about these beautifully crafted speakers, they not only look good but more importantly sound fantastic (did I mentioned that the midrange is to die for?)
  10. Folks I found by accident the holy grail of "affordable" audio set up!! :-) Until a few days ago I had my new Bel Canto C5i and my Bel Canto mLink connected to my new KEF LS50, so far so good, great sound all around, the KEF midrange is to die for and the C5i/mLink combo is not bad either. Still I was not entirely satisfied (but then again who is in this audio hobby ;-) Then I had an idea why not using the my Concero DAC instead of the internal DAC of the C5i and still keep the mLink as the S/PDIF /USB bridge...OH BOY What a combo! The sound coming from this set up is mind blowing, a little slice of musical heaven. On the donwside it's a little bit messy in the back with the all the additional wires, but I don't care ;-) For recap here's my set up: Bel Canto C5i Integrated amp Bel Canto mLink S/PDIF /USB bridge Resonessence Labs Concero DAC KEF LS50 Speakers Signal Cable (speaker cable, digital cable and analog interconnect and power cord)
  11. Hi guys, I'm trying the to get the best out of my new Concero DAC, and I was wondering if any of you who also own a Concero would care to share their Audirvana Plus preferences? As for the sound that little box is an incredible performer, this is an MAJOR upgrade from my last two DACs (Audioquest Dragonfly and Micromega MyDac) more bass, more air around the instruments and overall a more "exciting" sound. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Macbook Pro Audirvana 1.5.9 Concero DAC Dynaudio 110A Audioquest carbon USB cable
