    I meant sleep mode for the sound system. One that turns on/off with the computer.

    Hi, first post. There doesn't seem to be many high end PC sound systems out there (the Focal Bird has good reviews). If I end up connecting to a home theater hi-fi system or other non-computer based sound system is there a way to still have sleep / standby mode active? I'd rather not have to switch three things on/off (PC, TV, sound) when using the computer. thanks ralf
