Ted: My PS3 guy just sent me the following answer when i asked him if it could be downgraded. Is this accurate?: "Hi Harry, The downgrade cost $100 , its more complicated than just flashing the firmware, two nand chips have to be removed from the motherboard and read in a nand programmer then modified and reflashed with the modified nand then resoldered to the motherboard and go through many steps software procedure, its a very sensitive and time consuming process." Unless somebody has tried this and it DIDN'T work, I may give it a go. Harry

can someone direct me to where I can get a copy of SACD extract for both mac and windows? i have a mac laptop and a windows music server (not that anybody needs that info :-) ).

Hi Everybody: I'm a longtime lurker finally ripping thanks to Ted and others. My question is this. I'm playing SACD iso through JRiver 18. Works great. Is there a way to export the individual .dsf or .dff files (one per track) from JRiver or do I need to use the extracting program tool?? Thanks in advance. Harry
