  1. Thanks Johnt. I looked into the memory playback and played a bit with the settings there. That seems to work. Unfortunately I can not reproduce the effect, so not able to pin point the exact settings causing the effect. Additionally I found a program that reduced the speed as well, Nero drive speed, but this was also causing some issues in playback of the cd. Was not possible any more. So I suggest this not as the first solution.
  2. Hi, Currently I have my own music server running for a while. Origean S21T case with touch screen and software window 7 and JRiver18. The music server is running fine, doing a great job etc no issue there that are not solved in this community. Currently I replaced my cd transporter with my music server adding also cdrom to play music from cd's. This works rather nice, but the main issue is that when a song start the cdrom speeds up to maximum speed, becomes really loud for a few seconds and is quiet during the rest of the song, until a new song comes. I played with the maximum setting of the speed in Jriver (and also other setting like buffer size etc) but this seems not to work. Installing software to limit the read speed (like cdspeed2000) is not helping either. So my question, does someone know how to solve this, or having advise for running additional software? Thanks.
