Hopefully someone can shed some light on a few things for me. Im the manager of a high end car stereo shop in Massachussetts USA.
1) Has anyone run a C.A.P.S. server in their vehicle 12v system? I am looking for ways to play content at the highest sampling freq possible (mostly FLAC). With the best sound quality possible (low budget)
2) I want to use the crossovers in JRiver/DSP for a 4 way actively crossed over system. (front tweet, mids, midbass, rear fill, and sub) Is there an equivalent Mobo (topanga) that will do that amount of audio output channels? 7 or 8? So I can run to multi channel amplifiers?
3) I would like to build a unit that has Wifi, Bluetooth, 8 channels of audio out, can play all media at the highest sampling rates, that i can control via an android tablet/phone/or separate touchscreen, or regular lcd with an air mouse remote. Thanks to this site I have fell in love with the JRiver app.
Any tips or hints would be very much appreciated, thanks in advance.
