  1. Now that I have successfully created dsf files, I still need a recommendation which device is the best to stream these files from my NAS (prefered gapless). Would the Marantz NP8006 be suitable?
  2. I tried it again this evening (Putty & sacd_extract_160) and now it works with all SACDs! Maybe it was actually a problem with the music settings. I tried a lot and also changed the SACD Layer to CD (in combination with not restarting the player)... which was probably not the best idea. (one error message was something about scarlet book ..,)
  3. It looks like it was just a coincidence hit. (Beck - Sea Change) All other tested SACDs do not (yet) work. (Satriani - Strange beautiful Music & DSOTM) Telnet works now at least
  4. In the end, I did it. First SACD ripped with the S590 and the burned ISO successfully played on my Oppo BDP-93 Thanks to Phthalocyanines!
  5. Just bought a Sony BDP-S590 to rip some of my SACDs, but still can't get a telnet connection to the player. (.....Could not open connection to the host, on port 23: Connect failed) - ping is ok. Who gives him the ability for a Telnet Connection? The autoscript files or is it the player himself? Is the firmware revision important for this? I hope, someone here can help me with my problem! Otherwise, I'll throw the box out the window soon.
  6. he will do it via ProgSkeet and I can choose the Firmware. And because I'm really new to the whole PS3 stuff, I don't know what's the best at the moment. So...is the Kmeaw 3.55 ok?
  7. sitting here with a PS3 60GB Ver. 4.50 and a lot of SACDs waiting to be ripped. The guy who will downgrade it for me can install every Firmware I'm telling him. What's the best choice for my project? Can it be a CFW higher than 3.55? Thanks Jo
  8. Hi Ted, still looking for the right PS3 - but to be prepared....can you please send me your guide! Thanks Jo
