  1. Thanks, will keep an eye out for those mac mini supplies
  2. Hi all, I have recently acquired an intel nuc dc3217by. Now, I really would like to use a linear power supply with mine. Specs for the current wall wart are 19 V DC , 3.42A. It is not too easy to find similarly specced linear supplies. Do you guys have some ideas? Thanks
  3. Hi all, I have a NUC DC3217BY with a crucial M500 120GB SSD, 4GB of RAM & WiFi card. The standard power supply is a 3.42 A 19 V DC switching power supply. Can I just replace this with a 12 V DC 5A linear power supply or will the 19V / 12V difference be a problem ? Sorry, I'm not quite the electrician :-) Thanks! * EDIT * OK, after some googling the 12V - 19V difference seems to be a problem. So then, does anyone know of a 19V DC linear power supply yo use with the NUC ?
  4. So, the M51 is playing & I must say, it sounds gooooooood!! System is now JRiver MC 18 --> Musical Fidelity V-Link --> NAD M51 --> Event Opal
  5. Dsd playback is of no importance by the way.
  6. Hi all, Give me some advice please. I can get a new M51 for €1000, while a new Mytek would set me back €1300. Is the Mytek worth the extra 300? My system consists of Event Opal active monitors, they would be directly connected to the dac by xlr. My current preference is the M51 unless someone can convince me otherwise.. Thanks!
  7. Sorry for the possibly retarded question, but will I be able to control the volume of my active monitors through the mytek's xlr outputs?
