  2. Now Win32/Dynamer (\File System\001\t\00\00000000->SSTR\MInst\Portable\x86\Farstone_x86.exe) Is it normal??????
  3. Hi guys! I want to give this setup a try, it seems very promising! 😃 However, I am getting defender alerts (Win32/Uwamson.A!ml and Win32/Skeeyah) when downloading Win10XPE_2021-10-27.7z from any of the links provided. They do not seem to be false positives so do not know how to proceed. Any idea??? Thanks in advance!
  4. Thank you very much _JL_ and Lving for your comments. I think _JL_ got the clue. All SPDIF/AES are 75/110 ohm terminated but only the wordclock & 10M input is switchable. This is probably for daisy chaning the same clock reference across multiple devices where the last one should be 75ohm terminated. Thanks again! Best, jm
  5. Hi guys! Sorry for the off-topic as this thread is focused on etherRegen, but as I have read some of you are using the Mutec MC3+USB with an external 10Mhz clock, I just wanted to know if the internal jumper JP1 in the MC3+USB has to be changed from the default manufacturer position "2" (75 ohm termination) to "1" (no termination) to connect an external clock. My clock is Giesemann Double Crown. Thank you very much in advance!. Any help will be appreciated! Best, jm
  6. 192k pcm is not so bad for me. I am just playing at 24/96 to a TDA1541 tube dac....but, would the bootable image work via I2S (GPIO)? I have read about disabling the DSP in BIOS settings... thank you
  7. Hi! This is Jose Miguel. My digital setup is based on Hqplayer+NAA. Now, I want to build my naa endpoint v3 based on Up Squared (Pentium N4200 - https://up-board.org/upsquared/specifications/). It is a very interesting device not only because its small size and quite powerful features, but also because of its I2S audio output directly from SoC (Apollo Lake) via de 40-pin GPIO, similar to RPI. My idea is to take this I2S output into a top quality I2S reclocker (Andrea Mori at diyaudio, ian etc.) using the best clocks available (new Driscolls Andrea Mori as well) and then route the output to my DAC. This setup would make the USB conversion unnecessary. The ugly side is that everything above is still at development and support is not the best. Currently it should be possible to connect via I2S the Hifiberry DAC+ Std. to UP2 adding the SOF driver support to PCM512x ( https://thesofproject.github.io/latest/getting_started/setup/setup_up_2_board.html ). If this works, it would be possible to connect to the I2S pins at the hiffiberry to any othe I2S input device (the reclocker in my case). I assume that some audio device should appear in the ALSA config so that Hqplayer NAA could see it. In the same SOF project there is also support for WM8804 (same link above) so some digital interface (Hifiberry DIGI+, Twisted Pear,Audio??) based on this Wolfson IC should be compatible. It would be great to know what do you guys think about this setup, and get some feeback in case someone has already tested. Miska recommends Up Squared for Hqplayer, but I do not find anything related to this I2S support. Please Miska can you tell us what do you think about this setup? Would the UP bootable image do the trick? Thank you! Best, JM
  8. This is the one I used: "ubuntu-18.04.1-server-amd64.iso"
  9. It is very strange! I used 18.04 for my current setup and installation was very similar to 16.04 I just checked base system and ssh, around 270 packages, a little more than 16.04....
  10. Sorry, what do you mean with "USB input support"??
  11. Hi! Sorry for the dumb question but, how do you measure cpu usage and temperature in your linux console? i don´t want to install unnecessary packets.... Thank you!
  12. Hi again! I finally found the reason for such a strange behaviour. It was due to the cpus I was using. It didn´t support SSE4.2. Today I have tested again with a newer laptop as naa and a small i3 as server. Both are supporting the requirements and the installation has been surprisingly simple and straight forward. I really want to thank you for your kind support in my first step in this journey, specially to Miska for his infinite patience ???. This weekend I will test at home.... Thanks again!?
  13. The today test machine is quite old, dual core or similar. The true one will be an i7-8650 form roon and hqplayerd and an i5-3470s for the naa. Do you think it will be enough?
