After reading your post, I ordered myself a M2Tech HiFace Dac. It was my plan to get a simple Dac to connect to my tube amp since I sold my Audiolab 8200 CDQ.
Unforunately it too did not go according to plan. When I first connected the Dac to my computer and tube amp, it was totally silent, I thought phew, no noise, because I had the interference noise problem with the Audiolab. But after a week, the noise had appeared.
I have connected the M2Tech Dac to an USB2ISO-USB2.0 Galvanic Isolator I got from Denmark, it solved the noise problem but both my iMac and the Audirvana player now recognize/shows the output as M2Tech USB1.0 and it is not ideal.
I wonder if I get the CuBox and it will solve the noise problem? Can you please explain how the CuBox works?
