  1. I have tested the last version 0.38 and the problem is really solved. No more pop / click between tracks! Finally... Thanks.
  2. I don't see equally the exasound driver in the Win Control Panel, but it isn't apparently a problem. If you would like to try Hqplayer, you have to launch the program HQplayer Desktop 3 ASIO and after this you make the choice of the exasound device in the "Settings" under "Device". JRiver MC has a big range of features and is perhaps more user friendly, but at the end I prefer HQplayer with its full-screen mode and especially for its upsampling features which soundwise give better results than JRiver MC, but you need a powerfull computer.
  3. I have the same little annoyance as you between tracks from DSF files ripped on a PS3 from SACD's. This problem don't occur with PCM files, but only with DSF files and it's a bit sharper on MCH files than on stereo files. It's apparently independent from the player. I am using Jriver MC19 or HQplayer, mostly this one because I find it better with regard to sound quality when using upsampling to 128-DSD. The difference is particularly great between the two player with PCM files. The only problem is that the load on the CPU is important. Something other. I will receive an Anker Astro Pro 14400mAh in 2 days and I am very curious about it's possible benefit (I am still waiting on a Hynes power supply ... )
  4. I am not sure that a e28MkIII exists. On Exasound site, the only model with am MK III evolution is the e20. I have no problem to convert PCM to DSD or 2xDSD (in JRiver, but only stereo) or 4xDSD (in Foobar2000 in multichannel). My problem is which settings to select to convert DSD to 2xDSD in JRiver. In his comment, Matt Ashland said “you need to accept that doing any sort of processing with DSD requires transition to a multi-bit intermediate format” and I am not sure if this mean to select in the settings of MC19 : Bitstreaming : None.
  5. How do you set the transition to a multi-bit intermediate format. I have the Exasound e28 and the only way I found to use the 2XDSD capability of MC19 with a *.dsf file is to select in the settings of MC19 "Bitstreaming:none". Normally, George at Exasound recommend to select "Bistreaming : Custom - DSD". But with this setting "2xDSD" as output format is not available. Another caveat is that "2xDSD" is only stereo.
  6. Very curious, I have ripped the Faure Requiem with the Netherlands Chamber Choir and several SACD with Julia Fischer (Bach, Mozart, Mendelssohn, etc. ) without trouble ...
  7. I didn't encounter this problem. Until now, I have ripped 400 SACD with version 0.36, and many of them are from Pentatone, without any problem... With which one did the process fail ?
  8. Hello ted_b, Can you please send the guide for SACD ripping. Thank you very much!
