  1. What am I missing? How can the same master on two different substrates of CD sound different? What if you ripped both and compared them? Does one material play back more bits? Do we lose bits on standard CD plastic in the reading of the data? I've lurked frequently on this site and love it. Built a CAPS loosely based on information on this site. Forgive me as a newb if I am asking a dumb question.
  2. I think LZ needs to be played loud and not over analyzed. Jimmy Page suggested in interviews that he remastered these releases based on the output media (mp3/CS/Hi Rez/vinyl). In this instance I am eager to hear this on vinyl. And lets face it Zeppelin's original recordings we pretty crappy. Previously unreleased material is actually interesting only to the diehard fans.
