Some slight paint finish marks on the URendu that do not impact anything. Comes with a SGC 7V low noise linear power supply. Excellent sounding and well reviewed streamer with low noise floor which can function as a ROON endpoint and is compatible with a variety of media software apps. I used with Jriver and it worked perfectly- no clicks or pops with DSD file transitions into my PS Audio Directstream Dac. You need to spend a lot more money to get a better streamer than this. 3. View Classified FS: Sonore UltraRendu and Uptone LPS 1.2 Linear Power Supply Bundle $895 OBO Am changing some things up and selling my Sonore UltraRendu and Uptone LPS 1.2 units which make a great setup for network audio streaming. Multiple positive reviews of the UltraRendu and this Uptone 1.2 Linear Power supply and I found it to be a transparent, balanced, and detailed presentation of the source material. Has most recent 2.8 version of the Sonore operating system. Includes the Uptone factory power supply charger unit, required cable to power supply, and DC cable to the UltraRendu. There is very minor scrape near the right front screw of the UltraRendu which does not affect its functioning. 5. I bet you are right. I think I am going to leave the FMCs in the path as it lowers the noise floor slightly, so no worries. I have the basic TP Link switch pulled out. If I would take out the FMCs - I will need to go in and sort through the Linksys router settings. Thanks!!
  6. Thank you for the reply. The basic TP Link switch (TL SG1008D) is REALLY basic plug and play. No user changeable settings on it, but it worked fine out of the box on the URendu. You are probably right that there is some setting on my LinkSys router that the URendu does not like. Oddly, when I have the FMC's in the signal path it all works perfect also.
  7. Update. I had a pair of TP Link FMC's and meter of fiberoptic cable that I was planning on using to try some basic optical isolation. I took out the basic switch. Tried the Ethernet cable from wall jack > FMC>FO cable >FMC>Etherent cable >Urendu >PSA Dac Plays perfectly.
  8. Picked up an URendu and ran it yesterday after my Linksys router > basic TP Link switch> URendu > PS Audio Directstream Dac. Played perfectly. I pulled the TP Link switch out that I was using and connected to the URendu straight from the Ethernet wall jack output which is connected with a CAT 6 run from the Linksys router.. Figure that the switch was not needed and could be adding noise. It then Skipped/drop outs on all songs at any resoultion. Using Jriver Put the cheap generic switch back in after the wall jack. Plays perfectly. What is going on here???
  9. So you are saying it is a copy of the whatever the Studer 900 board is, which I am assuming is a copy of something else. I have no illusions about this being anything more than the multitude of other low margin priced gear produced in China. Was just wondering what this basically was. Obviously rebadged by whoever BRZHIFI is. I would say though, the quality of it appears well beyond $25. Will swap it out for the LPS 1.2 and the LDA and compare.
  10. I picked up a nice Ultrarendu form a forum member here. He threw in a BRZHIFI LPS that SGM had included. I am curious about the BRZHIFI. We sorted out that it was 7V. I checed with my voltage meter and it read at 7v also. I searched for BRZHIFI on Google and it appears this brand uses a Studer900 board. I opened it up and peeked in the back and it looks exactly like these boards. BRZHIF - STUDER900 lps It is running the Ultrarendu right now. It runs cool. The Ultrarendu runs cool. Can't say there is anything to complain about. Seems to do the job. Are these LPS boards any good? I have an Uptone LPS 1.2 I will compare it to I can pull from another device. I also have a LongDogAudio LPS coming in I can use also. Thanks for any info.
  11. I like Jriver and am used to its interface. It is a known issue, as you all know, that there can be clicks or anomalies between song transitions with some gear and Dacs for DSD files or when going from different song file resolutions. I actually had zero issues with my OPPO 105 streaming. Very few if any with an OPP Sonica DAC, but some minor ones with a PS Audio DS using a Bridge II card. It works fine without any issues using USB input. I think the other element for DSD is what process was used for ripping to .dsf.
  12. A few questions about the Lumin U1 mini. I am moving on from a Bridge II in my PS Audio Directstream Sr. Looking at used Lumin U1 minis and Sonora Ultrarendu or Opticaltrendu, possibly a Aries G1. What is good used price on U1 mini with an external linear power supply? Does it work with JRIVER?? Is it clear step up in SQ from the Bridge II? Thanks.
  13. Oppo Sonica has network capabilities built in and the ESS chip you want. It's excellent and some NOS out there and used. Under $900

The Teddy 7/2 power supply is equipped with a high quality cable made of silver plated PTFE insulated wires. The cable capacitance is around 13pF/ft, and its resistance is also very low, around 10 milliohm/ft. Asking $310 OBO which includes shipping and Paypal fees. 15. Got the ER setup direct to the Bridge II in the PS AUDIO DS. TBH it sounded very very good before through the OPPO 105 ethernet input>Coax> PS Audio DS with no ER. Early impression is slightly blacker background, slightly better definition on low end. JRIVER is a little glitchier, however, with the Bridge II card at song transitions than with the OPPO 105 Ethernet input. I had heard the Bridge II could be finicky.
