Perhaps I should re-phrase the question :-D What does everyone mount their speakers on? Why do they do it like this? Do you notice a decent improvement in your system from it? Thanks,

Hi Guys, I have a m-audio Audiophile 2496 and a set of Mackie 824 Mk I speakers which I plan to use for audio enjoyment (not recording/monitoring) and am interested in the best way to mount them. I've been thinking about using speaker stands or speaker isolator pads. has anyone hears or used any of these:- http://www.soundservice.co.uk/speaker_isolators.html http://www.soundservice.co.uk/music_isomat.html Even if you haven't used them does anyone have any recommendations? Alternative products? Are these appropriate for a speaker like the Mackie MK I as they have very good low frequency response and so I'm worried about them being over powering?
