  1. It may not be important to you however before you commit I seem to remember a review of the 05 which indicated that iLink does not communicate with a Mac via firewire, or any computer via firewire. It does have plenty of other digital inputs. Cheers GrahamS
  2. Your not alone Goran, I am in a similar position to you with my QBD76 albeit through a Macbook Pro. My only solution for dual wire is from a Lynx card in a Magma box or from a Weiss AFI 1, unless anyone knows of any cheaper alternatives. This is not to say I am not pleased with the Chord, 24/96 files from Linn and HD Tracks are eerie in their realism and the listening room is full of veils lifted when playing common garden variety CDs.   3. Hi Goran Dont forget that according to the specs for your dac (QBD 76), it will only accept sample frequencies above 24/96 via dual wire mode (24/176K & 24/192K). GrahamS
