Battery needs to be replaced after a while. Thats a draw back..

Im considiring of buying an external PSU. Just don know which. Have read many of the Mac Mini threads on optimizing and there is a lot of differents PSU that is mentioned. Like the mojo, Hynes and so on.... What is the best power conection for this PSU? Umbilicord, Din? Which PSU is the best under 650 dollars? Need to be EU 230 EU version. Anyone?

My ultrashort review. In my system the Mapleshade plus USB is better than the Nordost blue heaven and the Kimber USB. Better soundstage and even more holografic with that cable:)

Just imagine a shielded cable would be better.

Can anyone recomend a good cable for the Mac mini rather than the stock cable?

A mapleshade USB is on the way. Own a Nordost Blue heaven and a Kimber USB. Can post my experience but it can take a while..

Its possible to put them on the same shelf as the amp. But they will be a little narrow to each other.. The wood is a massive 3cm thick oak so I dont beleive it have an negativ effect. But im not the expert:)

Cant have it on top. Have a small boy who is very qurious:) Thats why I have made the enclosure:)

Its not warm but its warmer than the Berkley when idle. I will check the temp.) Also looking forward to hear from Berkley. Have described it in detail. Yes im desperate:)

I have sent Berkley an email and will post the answere about HOW important the clearence above the Berkley USB is and how/if it will be effected when standing on a sehlf over a amp. A littlebit afraid to experiment with the Berkley regarding this since I dont have many options..

Hope the littlebit increased temprature of the Berkley will not damage it!

I only have three of fours hours on it so its a litttle to early to say. But so far I can say its very good, but just dont know how good yet:) Cabling is good between my Mac, Berkley and Dac. They do not touch eachother or anything else as they should not. I will link a picture and show my dilemma with the placement. When the Berkley is where it is now its not exactly warm but its warmer than it would be in the other room in the middle. The "room" to the right will not work.. Just adding a picture to show how it really looks. (DIY TV stand)

Have atlast recieved my Berkley USB. In the manual it says that it should have atleast 1-2 inches off clearence above the converter. Anybody now how important this is? Anyone have it placed above a amp or integrated. Thinking about the heat etc?
