  1. Hi guys, Thanks again, I'm borrowing a newer Mac Book to test with. My suspicion is that DSP chip was dropped from the new OSX build so I might just be SOL without a 3rd party driver (nothing available from the mfg either). I'll keep researching a Terminal command solution though. Maybe somebody has a driver from the Gigawatt brand DAC that used the same DSP ? Mike
  2. Hi, Thanks for the reply. I did, in fact I've used both the built-in audio (optical out @ 96k/24 bit) and the generic USB Codec (44.1 or 48k) trying various procedures. But no matter what, every time I plug in the DAC USB cable, the only options are 44.1/48K at 16 bit in the Audio MIDI utility . Is there a way to set a system parameter for Core Audio via a Terminal command ? Apple Support didn't know when I called. TIA, Mike
  3. Hi folks, I'm having an issue getting above 48k on my iMac 27 (mid2010) running Mountain Lion OSX. My Decware brand ZDAC-1 DAC has a Cirrus Logic CS4398 DSP which can do 192/24 bit but no aloha with USB - optical out works to 96/24 though but not in Integer mode running Audirvana 1.51. Anybody have a driver that can enable this or any suggestions ? The maker said that DSP can be a little fussy, but didn't have a driver for it. Thanks in advance, Mike
