We're pretty much in the same boat. For me, it was over $10K and I have nothing, a big fat goose egg, to show for it. I trusted Larry's reputation based on the Da Vinci and got burned badly! Suffice it to say, Crowdfunding will not be in my future.

Regarding the latest IGG update, we've been given information like this before. Quite frankly, it's useless and can't be substantiated by any backers. When do they plan on shipping, said product, to backers and what criteria is being used to determine the order, sequencing, in which they will they be sent. I suspect we will never get that.

Unfortunately, I don't believe there is sufficient cash flow for refunds. Kind of like the government with Social Security, robbing Peter (us backers) to pay Paul (LHL's other endeavours). if the cash was available, the products could have been produced by now, even with all the mistakes. As you stated Blake, the fine print is protecting them but long term, their moral and ethical integrity is in the proverbial dumpster. Lesson learned but oh, what a cost.

Nice Blake! I opted to upgrade to the Vi DAC Tube SE and am number 41 of 53 so I guess I'll be retired before I get it.

They're still in business but woefully understaffed. Just keep pinging them and eventually you'll hear back but the key is to be persistent.

Nice review Ted. Had similar parochial upbringing (13 years - K thru 12), except for college unlike you, but discovered the same things while in college. That's where I was introduced to Firesign which neccesitated a certain state of mind.

The original HDPLEX 100W LPS only had two power outlets at 19V and 12V, not four like the current one, so I had to use the Teradak's to power the SSD and USB card at 5V each.

Hard to say because those are the only cables I have ever used for this build so I have nothing to compare it to. I would think improvement, if any, would be marginal at best.

The V3 fits with caveats. If you're using the first PCI slot on your MB for the PPA card you won't be able to use the second PCI slot with a short bracket. You would need to use a riser cable and use a long bracket mounted horizontally.
