  1. Just tried it in A+. Come Together crashes A+ about 4 seconds into the song...
  2. I'm pretty pleased with the 24/96 download from HDTracks. DR 14, sounds pretty natural.
  3. Just received mine and hooked it up to my iMac, Meridian Director, Swan Speakers. I agree with Melvin, easy to hear changes, only need a little (bass and lower mid) and the sound is great! And it's so tiny! Only issue is it's hard to grab a knob since it's so small. All in all, it's a great little package!
  4. No problems with 2.6.8...working fine...
  5. This is probably the best version you can get until Mr. Wilson's remix is released. I'm quite happy with it.
  6. I'm not sure what this thread is about, because this guy's on my ignore list...
  7. Bought the download today, along with her Signature-solo, and an Art Lande comp. I think Into the Mist is sublime. Excellent compositions and wonderful sound. Highly recommended. Thank you, Blue Coast Records
  8. One of my favorites too. I have four versions (he says sheepishly): The Original Fantasy CD has a DR of 13 The Fantasy 2004 SACD, DR 13 Acoustic Sounds Download (24/192), DR 11 Concord Music Group 2012 SHM-SACD, DR 14 As you can see, the Acoustic Sounds has the lowest Dynamic Range, however all of these are quite respectful sound-wise. Track listing is different: The two Fantasy disks (CD and SACD) have the same ten track list. The Acoustic Sounds has one additional track, and alternate take of Baseball Theme The SHM-SACD has only nine tracks, Fly Me to The Moon is missing. My personal preference is for the SHM-SACD, it seems the most natural. The two Fantasy disk are very similar and I prefer the SACD for the higher resolution. The Acoustic Sounds is my least favorite, but only when compared directly with the others. By itself it sounds very good. Not an easy choice as you can see. My opinion is to stick with your Fantasy SACD and spend the $ on another album. Good luck, David
  9. One of my favorites from the late 60's early 70's. Rest In Peace, Cory. Three Dog Night Mourns the Loss of Cory Wells | Three Dog Night
  10. This is how I've been using it too. I would like to see the sort by artist leverage the "Sort as" meta data as well as ignore "The" in a name. iTunes actually sorts the way I want, by Sort As, ignoring The and A, and then by album year. Once A+ does that, then I can say goodbye to integrated mode.
  11. For anyone who's picked this up, what do you think of the Sound Quality? Mostly the EQ? I think it sounds very organic and analogue-like, but I also feel the lower ranges mid-base area sounds a little bloated/heavy. It sounds good on my desktop, and ok on my larger system, but when I listen on my Pono with Sennheisers, I find I don't care for the EQ...that is very rare, as generally if it sounds good on one system, it sounds fine on all...Any one else have comments on the EQ?
  12. I moved from the A5s to the Swan M200MkIIIs. No comparison, these are really awesome speakers that don't seem to get a lot of notice. They are bigger than the A5s though so make sure you have room on the desk. Swan M200MkIII Cheers, David
  13. I had gone to 2.07, but just reverted to 2.06 and you're right there's a much bigger difference than I thought. I definitely prefer 2.06. Incidentally, I am using iTunes integrated mode, so take that for what it's worth. Regardless, Audirvana is an awesome piece of work!
  14. Damien, Great work so far. I just paid full price instead of the upgrade, à la vôtre to a fellow developer! I know you'll get 2.x into fine shape, but for now I'm sticking with 1.5.10 since it has the best sound on my system. Keep moving it forward, and thank you for an awesome music player. à la vôtre David
