  1. I see. From what I was reading, I thought ethernet as DC cable could compete with the best of the best. Also, I thought that red cable was just a normal DC lead that could have been easily and vastly improved.
  2. Don't understand why you wouldn't just try the POE injectors and ethernet cable since they are so cheap and easy. Isn't that what this thread is all about?
  3. @wushuliu that's very interesting. So does it seem for our DC cable application, the best would be highest twist rate for all pairs since we are not really concerned about bandwidth?
  4. Hi Esau, I'm just confirming that the isoregen will also include the USPCB?
  5. I've never tried a Gemini cable with the iUSB, but use an alternative cable called the Elijah Audio Isolaate BL. Cheaper than the Gemini and although I can't comment on direct comparisons, it's a definite improvement over a single headed cable of decent quality like a WW ultraviolet. Anyone else have any experience with this cable?
  6. I have a dcs 954 DAC which is the pro version of the consumer Elgar model and only has AES/EBU inputs with XLR connectors. I'm using an Audiophilleo converter which has BNC output. I'm using a Neutrik 75 ohm to 110 ohm converter in between the AP and the dcs 954. Does anyone think this will hamper the performance in any way? If not, this may open up some options for the OP. I've read that SPDIF is pretty much the same as AES/EBU as well.
