I looked at and now using version 2.6 as of today, I dropped it for awhile about version1.x something. Today I decide to re-look at Vox Music Player, but I downloaded it direct today instead of using Apples store like last time. I am always worried it is sandboxed (Control Freaks they are) by Apple. So now I see that the Apples AU plug-ins can be installed again. I will try it and let you know how well it works, after a little more time with the user interface (UI).. This computer is running Maverick 10.9.5 on Mac Pro 2010 6-core 3.33MHz 48GB.. @bearflag7
