Still no news from m2tech! One month after the release of Mavericks we are still unable to listen to music! This is so unacceptable and unprofessional from their side! They should have tested in anyway with the release of Mavericks beta! The announcement at their site really means nothing to me! They cannot expect everyone to visit their site before upgrading! Very disappointed.

Hello guys, I am interested in opinions regarding this cable both on its sound as well as on how precise it is in the 75Ω specification of such cables. Manufacturer of my DAC, recommends a BNC connection but I have found this cable at a very good price so I was considering of giving it a chance. Looking forward at your responses. Mike

There is something going wrong with Amarra 2.1. Compared it with pure music. Both at their optimum preferences (memory play, hog mode etc.). In my system pure music is actually way better than amarra in every single category. better layering, more body, more 3d, more real. Amarra sounds very THIN sounding in comparison. The differences are NOT subtle. Mike

Hello audio buddies and Happy New Year to all of you! May this year bring to you everything you possibly imagine. I own a Mac Pro early 2009, with 4GB of RAM, 8-core etc. a generally speaking fast machine. I am have a lot of trouble with my itunes. Everything and I mean everything I try to do, like select a playlist, search, create a new playlist etc. takes very long time. For example when i try to enter something in the search field it takes about a second for each letter to appear AFTER i type it. A disaster.... I do not remember if this happened after an update or suddenly. I have around 8000 playlists (one playlist for each album), do you think this could be causing the problem? I have 3.5tb of music in 3 different internal hard disks. Too much music shouldnt be the cause of the problem cause when I search for example through spotlight the result is immediate. Hello my friends, After three months of living with pure vinyl and then trying the Amarra I am positive that I can post my impressions of what I have heard. At the beginning I was very impressed with the soundstage of Pure Vinyl and the changes it brought to my audio system. But after a bit I began to get tired of its presentation, It couldnt let me enjoy the music as much as I wanted. So I thought I should give Amarra a try. OMG! What a wonderful presentation, more flat, more real, more musical than pure vinyl. The micordynamics increased and the music seemed to "flow" more naturally, it was so much more musical!! It just sounded "right" compared to pure vinyl. One more point, the 64bit volume control from amarra is so much better than the one used in pure vinyl. As I run my system without a preamp this is a must for me. Who knows, maybe it is the synergy between Amarra and Weiss but the Amarra in my system was a CLEAR winner at the end of the day. Not to mention it is bug-free compared to pure vinyl which was very annoying with its slowness... Happy Listening, Mike

Cynic lately I have the same problems like the ones you mention and it is the only reason I havent bought it yet. Clicks, pops, music stops sometimes etc. I have tried playing with and without memory play and it still happens. So it is not memory play's fault! Anybody has a solution on this? Mike

Use XLD, it is the best ripping software right now for MACs. I myself have 4Tb of Apple Lossless and they have all been ripped with XLD.
