I Know people that have every popular audiophile recording in every format from every label and company in the business transcribed to data.In a/b ing all these recordings which is tedius and boring most of the time there little or no difference in SQ and it gets like smelling too many perfums at once.But they insist on giving away money.

Trying to figure what to choose. Is there a large tradeoff between rotational speed and noise in building a Nas drive. Are the differences worth it?

I expect my CD player to die soon. Was wondering if using a Apple Mini-mac with a couple of external drives (without compression) would fit the bill? I have about 1500 disks & expect more and a fairly high resolution audio system.................Thanx All
