  2. Thanks for your reply, I am using the HPEOS in USB thumb drive. Do I need to install the Ubuntu n amd built?
  3. @Miskathanks for the new version. no luck for the AMD CPU this time, just fallback to 4.24.1! same setup n configuration. 4.24.2 dropped after few seconds 4.24.1 working good amd 5900x with 32GB RAM
  4. Once configure the roon + HQplayer with upsampling to 7EC 256 then no way back!
  5. I prefer ROCK rather than Windows + Roon!

All depends on how you feel! Try and find the best suit for yourself. Just upgraded my audio PC from i7 8700 to 5900x coz EC is much better than others!

  8. Thanks for your quick reply. Here are the screen cap for the CPU loading. So far the CPU 0 and 7 is 94.7% and the rest is 9.9% t 12.6%!
  9. Thanks for your reply. I am using the HQplayer embedded OS (USB) for upsampling 16/44.1 to DSD256 (to ext-3 with 7ec ) then drop out after a few seconds. But not all the song... Can the ubuntu with AMD optimised build will fix the problem?
  10. @Miska Just upgraded the computer from I7 8700 to AMD5900x , I should use the HQPlayer Embedded OS (usb thumb drive one) or install the ubuntu 20.04 with the AMD optimzed Build? If AMD optimzed build then should follow the following script?
