  1. I think it won't work. Imho there's a greater chance of a stand-alone ripping drive being developed than a working Pio 150.
  2. Remove all USB drives and try this. Every Oppo 10X should work.
  3. I don't think any modifications/hacks would affect the sacd-ripping capability of Oppo 10X(D) players.
  4. FYI http://www.computeraudiophile.com/f11-software/sacd-ripping-using-oppo-or-pioneer-yes-its-true-29251/
  5. First, check the MD5 CRC hashes of your files. They should be the following: Second, remove all USB drives attached to your Oppo before sacd-ripping.
  6. Based on my recent tests posted here it seems at present Android smart phones and their apps don't support streaming music to the USB DAC of Oppo 105. So Oppo 105 seems not to be a class compliant device. Nevertheless, I would be interested in your experiences, too. Besides different OTG cables you might also need to try the USB-hub trick described here. For testing on OTG capable Android smartphones you can use eg. the free HibyMusic or a free trial of USB Audio Player Pro.
  7. Unless your setup(s) support DST compressed DSDIFF file playback it's worth choosing Sony DSF DSD audio file format. All DSD capable hardwares play DSF files but very few do DST-DFF.
  8. Yep, (SA)CD players start playing at Index 01 of the first track skipping the first pregap.
  9. A typical misauthoring of applying 2 minutes pregap instead of 2 seconds.
  10. This album has been released in digital hi-rez at HDtracks. I don't think the SACD version would sound significantly better than that one.
  11. I think it's a poorly authored disc. Sometimes this causes no big problems (if any) in listening, ripping and extracting.
  12. Based on my experiences, as a rule of thumb, applying +3 dB gain is safe (ie. no clipping) in most cases.
