because my 2014 Mac mini seems to upsample redbook to DSD without issues, but always chokes when I try the same with high res PCM downloads. So maybe the best HQP setup for me and my holo spring 3 would be one that upsampled all rebook and DSD64 to DSD256, and everything else to higher-res PCM.

probably a dumb question, but is there a way to set HQP to upsample all redbook 44.1kHz 16bit to DSD, and 96-192kHz to higher res PCM? Thanks!
  3. any news on the Spring 3 release? Kitsune hasn't updated the previous "late-April to mid-May 2021" eta...
  4. Hello, after years of good service, my old PS3 is starting to show problems: ripping directly to usb drive is not working -- for some reason, I'm getting a "not enough space" message on the PS3 for every different usb drive I try. So I wanted to try server mode, but cannot find the .bat files anywhere. Would anyone know if (and where) they're still available for download? Btw, I understand the server mode feature is Windows-only, right? Or does it work on Mac as well? thanks a lot! Mario
  5. Just installed the public beta and my tracks are ALL duplicated. Any clue of what could be causing this? Didn't have this issue with any of the previous versions... A suggestion/request would be to be able to have, under the "artists" view mode, the albums organized following the same structure that has been chosen for the "albums" view mode (like year, album name, etc.). thanks, Mario
  6. ok, I found the missing file and installation seems to be going smoothly now! Thanks guys!
  7. thanks for replying! I couldn't find com.audirvana.Audirvana-Plus.plist under my Preferences folder. Could it be somewhere else? thanks again, Mario
  8. Hi I was in the process of moving my A+ library to another location (feature under "Preferences"), when the program suddenly shut and wouldn't reopen. Versions prior to 2.6 will open normally, but all 2.6.x and betas won't -- every time I try, I get the same window saying that A+ quit unexpectedly. I also tried deleting all files under my A+ library folder, hoping that this would fix the problem, but didn't help -- keep getting the "A+ quit unexpectedly" message. Any ideas? thanks! Mario
  9. I never thought I would see Neil Young-related high-res material being sold at HDtracks or any online vendor other than Pono. Or maybe Pono won't be coming back after all?
  10. Hope you manage to do it, and looking forward to reading your review!
  11. Don't know if or how this could be done, but something I would love to have in A+ is the option to group/stack different editions or pressings of the same album (without having to call them different discs of a same album). Then I wouldn't need to see my several versions of 'Pet Sounds' on the main A+ screen every time I'm browsing for something to listen to. tsk!
  12. I had a similar problem, and learned that the cause was the log files generated during the dsf extraction, which I always kept in the same folders of the dsfs (inside the a+ library). Once I removed the logs, and re-synchronized the library, the problem disappeared.
