  1. Thanks for the clarification; but there's no reason I can't use a wifi bridge with the like the WD My Net AC Bridge, which has the fast 802.11ac standard, is there? I've got an Asus router with the AC standard, and I assume that will provide a better wifi connection than AirPort.
  2. Thanks for the clarification. I need to connect via wifi, since my router is in another room. As far as I understand, AirPort Express works only with Itunes -- is that correct? I don't want to use Itunes, if I can avoid it. Can I use a wifi bridge to connect the NA7004 to my home network, in order to access music files on my NAS?
  3. I'd like to use the NA7004 with my home wifi network; do I need to get a router for it, and connect it via ethernet; or will it work with a USB wifi adapter/antenna? If a full router is necessary, I assume a 802.11ac would be best, since that's what my primary wifi router is? Thanks for your help!
  4. My CAPS Carbon arrived today, I hooked it up to a monitor, mouse, NAS, and my Burson Conductor DAC via USB... But nothing happens when I try to power it on! The power block seems to be working (blue light glows on it). Is there some secret to powering it on that I am missing? Help!!
  5. Does anyone have any suggestions or preferences for a monitor and keyboard for the CAPS v.3 Carbon? (or probably for a monitor and keyboard for any computer based music system) Can these affect the sound in any way? Is an HDMI monitor quieter? Any preferences in terms of convenience? Thanks for your help!
  6. I'm thinking about buying a C.A.P.S. v3 Carbon, and I'd appreciate getting comments from people who are using them, and some advice. I am not a super tech sort of person, so my basic question is, how reliable and easy to use is the Carbon? I don't have the time or skills to do a lot of tinkering with it; and I'm concerned that I'll be on my own if there's a problem. Does Small Green Computer service them? Also, I'm not sure what sort of hard disk setup to use for storing music files; am I correct that a NAS requires using wifi to get the files to the CAPS? Our wifi is not great, so I'd rather use something cabled directly to the CAPS, if it doesn't degrade the sound (my understanding is that a USB connected drive is not good if you're using a USB DAC, and I'm using the Burson Conductor as my DAC). Do you think eSata is the best bet? Finally, if I'm not storing any music files on the SSD, is there a reason why going for a 256 gb drive, rather than the standard 64, makes sense? Thanks for you help! [h=2][/h]
