I must admit I love this app more and more.. I use it all day, and it is my only player now. But what really is the icing on the cake for me is that it allows to play streaming locally on my iPad or iPhone to external dac as well. One GUI for all my listening, great. Listening now late at night with my AudioQuest Nighthawks and recently aquired Chord Mojo connected to iPad or iPhone and Qobuz is great fun, and the sound is really really good with this combo, it makes the feet tap. I also just downloaded version 1.09 - and it works as before. I then adjusted moOde 8.2.5 to again “Check Content” in UPnP Settings, and 1.09 works as it should - Great! Regarding the Airplay issue, I tried with mConnect, and that plays ok, Jplay does not start after an Airplay 2 session, and the “handshake light” flashes However I just changed moOde Airplay: Resume MPD to Yes, Airplay Settings : Session Interrupt:Yes, Session Timeout:5 seconds. (This was at default 2 minutes, and I did not let Jplay try to handshake for 120 seconds, I rebooted long before that) Those new Settings causes MPD to resume playback 5 seconds after Airplay is finished, and my last played track in Jplay starts again, and moOde is available again for streaming from Jplay.

Do you have any plans to offer support for more streaming services? I would love to see support for Apple Music as it has some music not available elsewhere. I have Tidal and Qobuz, both no longer have for example Macy Gray : Stripped, an excellent album! And it is available on Apple Music which I also subscribe to, to be able to listen to those albums. I could enable Airplay on my moOde 7.6 installation, but last time I tried that, it ended up with Jplay not being able to play to moode after having finished Airplay. I have just updated to moOde 8.2.5, but I am having the same incompatibility with Jplay, I need to restart the moOde instance after Airplaying to be able to get Jplay to successfully stream to it again. Jplay skips the songs, and I can see the “handshake” on my Metrum DAC is blinking like mad, trying to get a proper “handshake”. Knowing this, I dont Airplay anymore. It was not a problem before I switched to Jplay when I used BubbleUPNP Server. I could Airplay or play via any steaming app to moOde, switching between them no problem. To be able to have Apple Music in the Jplay app would therefore be nice, and maybe solve the problem I hope. Keep up the excellent work!

I can also confirm that updating to version 1.08 , it does no longer work, unless disabling “Check content” in moode 7.6.1 which causes it to work again. Best regards

Ahh - That was not obvious to me at all. I just sat experimenting with both iPad and iPhone 13, and they were out of synch.. Please please move or provide the Synch Data more to the front of the app, for example, when on Qobuz Favourites in JPlay, Swipe-Down-From-Top causes the Synch process to start, a method often seen to update the screen and its list contents on iOS, that way I will intuitively know that I’m up to date very quickly. I have not noticed this as I have only been using JPlay to alter favourites since I started using the app, and very rarely have the Qobuz or Tidal apps open. However having just downloaded version 1.07 I noticed that : when I am on the My Activity, any action I perform after having scrolled down the screen, for example - Scrolling down to the Albums Section, when I then press the Most Played, or Recently Played, I am brought to the correct Tap, but every time I am brought to the top of the screen - this makes no sense at all, Please remember Screen-Scroll-Offset when switching between items, so that I see the switch between for example the two tabs : Recently Played/ Most Played. Otherwise, excellent app!

Thanks Stefano, Im not at home at the moment so could not access Lumin app, but yes, that is exactly what im asking for. What also is rather excellent is the ability to click on any of the items in the pop up, and instantly search for that/navigate to that, for example selecting Glen Gould would search for Glen Gould, or as in the screenshot Selecting the Qobuz symbol would search Qobuz, If you also have Tidal, a Tidal symbol would appear, and you can then easily search either Streaming service for any of the items listed in the Pop Up, much faster than, the multi-clicks I must use now when click-hold returns a window with items and you have to close this window. Both ways of browsing/searching would be excellent.

I am very very happy with the performance of the app, it is very very fast. It would be rather nice if it would be possible to rearrange or delete complete albums in the Playing Que, when I try out new music from Qobuz and Tidal, I would like to delete the whole album from my que if I don’t like it. As I am experimenting with new speaker cables and speaker placement at the moment, I use the que to jump back and forth over days for comparisons. I have both Qobuz and Tidal, as sometimes albums disappear/are removed from one or the other service, and I then locate it in the other Streaming Service which usually has it. In the Lumin app I was used to clicking-and-hold on the greyed out/missing album, and then selecting it from the pop up for the other service, a similar solution would be great, maybe a Versions could pop up? Keep up the excellent work!

I must say that I am very very impressed with the app. For my use case where I only have Qobuz and Tidal and no longer any local content, it is really very very fast at retrieving a search. I’m used to Lumin.app, which I have used for 10 years, and even though I no longer have a Lumin A1 I still used Lumin app with a Pi running BuppleUpnpServer and a Pi4 with my moode based player with LPS feeding i2s to a heavily modified Metrum Amethyst with LPS. That combination has been very successful for me, so much so that it replaced the A1. Being owner of Jplay switch for some years, which also made audible change, I was very excited to install the JPLAY iOS app. It did not take long to determine that the sound is much much better! Congratulations Marcin, you have a new Customer.

Hi again, yes im using BubbleUPnP Server 0.9-update43 (March 24th 2022), and that has been working flawlessly for me for years, unfortunately i had to downgrade and sell my A1 a while ago, but having lived with the excellent Lumin app / A1 for nearly 8 years ;-) I found it hard to use anything else, which is a huge compliment to the Lumin team, and now continue to use the App with a moode based solution, and hope to be able to once again afford a Lumin, as the sound quality and support are second to none! Hi, I have just seen my Lumin Apps Update to 8.2.0 and now I Can’t use the navigation, ie : previous, play/pause, next and jump ahead does not work at all, on iPad Air (3rd generation) running 15.7, the same happens on my iPhone 13 running 15.6.1. strangely it does not happen on my old iPad Air running 12.5.5 which functions as normal with 8.2.0. Having restarted iPad, iphone etc does not help. Any ideas? best regards from Denmark
