That's easy. Just download the hqpe image and write it on an usb memory stick with help of Etcher and then let your computer boot from the stick (you bypass your Windows system this way). Have also a look at the Configuring HQPlayer Embedded site. I understand that you need a break from tinkering but I guess the next HQ desktop version will not help here.

Do you have a spare usb stick? You could download HQPlayer embedded and then boot from that stick. Just to check if HQPe can see the A26's NAA. Outside the Windows universum.

Choose 'NetworkAudioAdapter' instead of 'NetworkAudioAdapter IPv6'

Well, I have no problems with my AH90 (Gustarender 1v43) as a NAA. (Note again it doesn't work here with protocol IPv6). The only issue I have is the MAC address is changing each time you turn on the AH90 or after switching the inputs so the ip address is changing, too. It's a problem here with JPLAY iOS but neither with Roon or HQPlayer.

Yes I have enabled DSD direct. I had to install the beta dsd direct firmware before. 48k DSD does work here. Another hint maybe. Please switch to another input and then back to LAN input. Maybe that helps. At least I have to do this after using the LAN input with Roon. Additionally to disabling my AH90 on Roon.

Did you already try 'NetworkAudioAdapter' instead of 'NetworkAudioAdapter IPv6'? IPv6 doesn't work with my AH90.
  7. Is ipv6 activated on your Beelink and the main Windows PC?
  8. You can jump between the (several) version(s) 4 and version 5 via menu point Software downgrade. Something what was new to me until I downgraded from 5 to 4.
  9. Yes, it is already possible to install version 5. Or to downgrade to version 4 again.
  10. It supports the Diretta Aperitivo.
  11. You only need to enable the Roon server. Under menu point 05: Enable/Disable Software. No matter if you the install the Embedded or Xfce4 version.
  12. I still didn't upgrade from V3 to V4. I was hesitating because I have two full V3 licenses and also because I have reduced my system. Sold my old active speakers, DAC/pre-amp and a fleshy computer (with Windows LTSC installed and also JPLAY) and running a pair of KEF LS50 Wireless II now. From remembrance I can say that I liked the V4 trial very much. Especially with the KEFs via UPnP but also via a DDC Topping D10s. Maybe I will upgrade (one license only) in autumn when I spend more time at home again. For now I like what I hear with JPLAY Femto and Diretta ASIO host installed on a spare Acer Switch Alpha 12 😄 Diretta Target is a NUC8i7BEH at the moment (booting from a Diretta stick). The sound is surprisingly "full bodied" via the Topping DDC. Especially with local files served from JPLAY Femto server. I still have to find out what I like more. Either kernel streaming via Topping directly connected on the Alpha or via Diretta ASIO. But even with the latter I can set the DAC Link to 1000 Hz. It's fun to play around with solutions that were in 'pause mode' for more than one year and you already have paid for. So again, mnohokrat diky za mentioning JPLAY Femto! 🙂
  13. Thank you for reminding me JPLAY Femto! I digged out my old license and voilá: it even works with Diretta ASIO. Great! Btw, you can use the JPLAY lifetime license on two computers.
  14. Strange, the trial seemed very stable to me. I was about to upgrade both Euphony server and endpoint but missed the Paypal option so I stopped.. lol.
  15. Euphony offers a Shutdown option via the web interface.
