squeezebox touch system tweaks...........

Hi I hope it's ok to post in this thread as my question appears to be related. If I install the EDO plugin on my Squeezebox Touch; will I be able to use a Meridian Explorer USB DAC? I believe the Explorer DAC requires the connected USB device to supply 500mA power. Has anybody managed to use this particular DAC with the SBT? Thanks.
