  1. I think I see what you are getting at. Would two of these Phono Splitter Lead : Phono : Maplin Electronics and two of these Search results achieve the same thing provided each was plugged into a different channel?
  2. I already know this cannot be done for both my phone and computer with individual speakers. I already have speakers. All I need is a Bluetooth adapter, which I know I can get, and a way to split the Stereo signal from that device between the two sets of magnets in paper cones. It doesn't matter who made the paper cones or the magnets, all I need to know is how to get stereo to split into it's Left and Right channels with cables, and for each channel, The L to play out of both the L and R speakers of one device and the R to play out of the L and R of the OTHER device.
  3. Hi. Will this; Hosa Stereo Jack to Stereo Dual Jack Y Cable (STP-203) 3m Output only the Left channel from one mono jack and only the Right channel from the other? How will putting; Ekho 6.35mm Male Mono Jack to 3.5mm Male Mono Jack Adaptor - ElectroMarket On the end of the mono cable affect the sound coming out of a stereo speaker? Just for each Mono cable, will one of the Mono cables end up playing the whole stereo mix? And what happens when you have mono input into a stereo speaker, does it play through only the left? Or both L and R channels? Think of this in terms of a theoretical question. It doesn't matter what I'm doing or what equipment I have, I'd just like someone with more knowledge than me of audio systems to answer the specific questions. Please. Thank you. G
  4. The other reason I want a small BT receiver and no wires is that I can connect my phone to the projector which is pretty small. In fact last week I brought it to work and we watched a film at the end of the day, but there is no way to connect my phone to more than one of the speakers. I want the whole setup to be portable. I was trying to keep the setup as flexible and light as possible, but the one BT speaker doesn't have enough oomph, and gets tinny at high volume anyway, I also really want stereo sound.
  5. Having looked at it maybe I do need to explain it a little better. I have TWO wireless speakers. Each speaker is meant to operate as an individual Stereo unit, - each of the two speakers has L and R. I can connect to both devices from my computer. However, windows will only output to ONE device, ONE speaker. Using Virtual audio cable, I can connect and output to BOTH devices via Bluetooth, but no settings will make one of the speakers act as left, and one act as right. Only a weird mix of having one as L/R and one as L. I want one speaker to act as L, and one to act as R. I was anticipating having a single audio Bluetooth receiver which I would then use cables to split the sound into L/R mono outputs, so one speaker can act as L and one as R. Surely this is possible? G.
  6. Is this due to the fact the equipment I want is cheap and not "LEET" or have I failed some sort of audiophile secret handshake? Or have I answered my own question?
  7. OK, so this forum seems pretty slow... Could someone at least help with this, Buy LOGITECH Wireless Bluetooth Speaker Adapter | Free Delivery | Currys is this what I'm looking for and then what cables will I need to split the sound into actual L/R channels, given that the TWO speakers both have 3.5mm stereo input, I'm guessing 3.5mm jack to mono splitter and then mono to 3.5mm jack adapter on each end?
  8. I bought two wireless speakers, which are good quality, but I can't get them to work with Windows 7 as L/R speakers for my home theatre setup through my computers bluetooth connection. I'm willing to buy some sort of third device, which I have no clue about, but could spend up to £50 on, to connect (wirelessly, either bluetooth or wifi, which is V. important) to my computer to pump the sound out to my speakers (and have them act as L/R), however, I have no clue about audio, so I don't even know what I'm looking for and thought here would be a good place to ask for advice. Thanks in advance. G.
  9. Obviously not time sensitive anymore, but it's still a problem that I have not found a solution to.
  10. Hi all, massive time sensitive problem. I bought two speakers bluetooth enabled so I could use one as a left and one as a right speaker for my home cinema setup which I have setup for my girlfriend coming over in 2 and a half hours. She doesn't know I've got a 103" cinema set up and its going to be a surprise, but it'll be a pretty poor one if I can only get one of these speakers to work... So after much much googling for the past 24 hours I found out that Windows no longer supports multiple output devices because the RIAA are pansies and somehow persuaded Windows it would be a good idea to restrict their customers flexibilty etc. etc. So I downloaded Virtual Audio Cable, and tried to use it to split the sound into channel R and channel L, however, I can only get Left to work on one, and right to work on the other one if it is also playing left. (This is on a virtual cable only recieving FR and BR channels, however, FR only play Left channel, and BR plays nothing... ????) If anyone knows an easier way or a setup in which VAC will output only stereo left and right please let me know!
