  1. I have the same issue. To bad the solutions are not posted. please reply 🙂
  2. Allo, I ordered a Digione Signature and the Tracking # sent to me had a different location on it. Please PM me about this. Thanks,
  3. Check that volume leveling in your DLNA server settings is not checked. see http://www.computeraudiophile.com/attachments/f3-article-comments/17563-article-geek-speak-how-build-universal-plug-dplay-digital-living-network-alliance-openhome-renderer-less-%24100-image.jpg
  4. I'm using a diy unit from diy audio Super Regulator V2.2 - Power Supplies and Accessories - Circuit Boards It may be overkill, I had it sitting around so I hooked it up to see if it would make a difference and it's worth doing. Gives more definition and focus. I have another unit with a LT1085 and I will report back any difference.
  5. I found a nice improvement with a linear power supply over the small switcher originally quoted in the article. This renderer configuration was a big improve over a stock Mac Mini USB out.
  6. My unit does the same thing if I'm trying to play WMA files. No problem with FLAC or m4a files.
  7. I found the same thing, low audio level, when I first turned on the NetAudio devise. I found that there are settings in Jriver (19)under media network that sets the options on the renderer. I made the changes and the max volume was the same as my direct PC USB output. hope this helps,
  8. I would isolate any SSD connected from the main board power. So if you have an extra SSD for content that should be isolated as well. It could share the same supply as the OS drive.
  9. I don't think it matters as much as having the isolation from the main board power. After that it's a smaller incremental improvements. Isolating power for your USB output board is also important and it needs to be separated from the SSD power supply and main board supply. So you need three power supply's main power, SSD and USB. I think, and have not personally confirmed, that if you have a dlna renderer it moves all the power supply issues to the renderer. This is why people have been so impressed with the Auralic Aries and other Dlna renders. I'm looking forward to testing this therory with the Bel Canto RefStream soon.
  10. Here's the deal... SSD's draw about .6 watts at idle, 1.2 w reading and 2w when being written to. This is modulating the main 5 volt power supply for the board. If you separate the SSD 5 volts from the mother board it stabilizes the power for the whole system. It made a big change in my system. I don't think the specific manufacturer of the power supply matters as much as just separating it. My 2cents.
  11. I use the analog inputs with my Phono Preamp and it sounds great. It's a 24/192 A/D.
  12. My DAC 3.5VB needed two to three weeks to smooth out and open up. Also I have been told that the VB Supply has no battery in it, it's a large capacitor bank. By the way, I own a BC DAC 2 and compared it to the old DAC 3 and is wasn't much of a difference in my system as I'm running single ended. The DAC 3.5VB is completely different. The bass control and dynamics are just outstanding. Once I heard it compared to my old DAC 2 I had to have it. A very enthusiastic thumbs up for the DAC 3.5VB!
  13. It avalable with the Free download of there sampler.
  14. Time to upgrade to a Touch with the Itunes remote app. Works great.
