  1. I think the update may have happened a about 2 weeks ago, I just never noticed. But just a heads up, the current version of Amazon Music now includes the option to choose an output audio device and an exclusive mode. Finally.
  2. Speaking of power cables. I did replace my power cable with a "Pangea Audio AC 14SE MKII C7" and I heard no difference in sound over the original.
  3. When you see a CD icon, the stream is lossless 16/44.1 , when you see a HR icon the stream is lossless 24/44.1 or higher. If you see no icon, then the stream is MP3 or some lossy format. Lossless 16/44.1 Lossless 24/44.1 or greater What you don't want to see is this. A lossy stream The way to see the exact resolution is through the Amazon Music desktop or Android App.
  4. One draw back with the the Amazon HD is that the Amazon desktop app does not allow you to choose the output device and doesn't support WASAPI or ASIO. So the resolution output is always locked at what ever is set in windows sound properties.
  5. HD audio over wireless should work, but not guaranteed to be stable with content 24bit 96khz and above. Especially when the wifi is being shared with the rest of your home network. My Nodei is connected by Ethernet for this reason. And crn3371 is absolutly right the Amazon interface for the Node 2i is terrible. What they should so is what Spotify is doing and use the Spotify app to direct stream from the Node 2i.
  6. Can someone comment on the differences between the Node 2 and the Yamaha MusicCast WXC-50? Can the Tidal app cast to the Node 2 directly, or only through the BlueOS app?
  7. I'm waiting on an answer for this question, because I plan on using it with the Yggdrasil also if I get one. Are there any websites with any special sales going on at the moment?
  8. I enjoy GoGo Penguin also. Have you heard of Mammal Hands? https://mammalhands.bandcamp.com/album/animalia
  9. Thanks for suggesting the Pogo. Are you expereinced with these? I'm confused about whether or not they require some type of subscription. And Will the Pogo allow me to direct a music application like Jriver to the music library stored on the external drive, and stream and rip music from and to it? Will the networked drive appear as physical or network drive in "My Computer" or do I need some special software to view the drive?
  10. Um I don't want to use a computer as a NAS. I want a NAS running independent from the computers. A 1 Server to 2 Clients relationship.
  11. I have an 5 TB external hard drive formated in FAText, that I would like to share between two computers in my room. I would like the drive on the LAN, and have it appear as a network drive in each computer. I'd like to avoid setting up file and printer sharing on one machine. The drive contains my music libarary I and wanna stream from it using Jriver or MusicBee on each machine. Now I've seem some adapters online but they all have very negative reviews, and appear to only work through some special software and are limited by Hard drive formatting and size. Are there an good ones around that would do what I need?
  12. Do you know if the V2.0 album (non deluxe edition) album is above 44.1?
  13. No its not supposed to work thay way. As for my problem. I contacted support and they dont know why I cant stream AAC. I guess theres still some bugs.
  14. Can someone help me with this issue? I can stream FLAC just fine but I can't stream AAC. I just get the spinning circle. I'm using Windows 10.
