My HQplayer+Roon suddenly cannot produce any sound after a week not using. HQplayer indicates the following: Offload: resampler=disabled convolution =disabled can some kind souls advise me to solve this problem? Thank you.

Hi everyone, I am facing a streaming issue with my system. All of a sudden few weeks back after updating Roon software, I cannot get any sound anymore. Before that all was working well. Below is the audio chain for reference: Roon-HQplayer (both in MacMini) -> Sonore OpticalRendu —USB—> May KTE —RCA—> Int. Amplifier -> Speakers On Roon end, the zone is set at HQplayer localhost On HQplayer settings (previous working settings), Under Output Devices Settings, backend is set as “NetworkAudioAdapter IPv6”, device is “Orendu-Holo Audio UAC2.0 Gen2 Enhanced: USB Audio. Under Input Devices Settings, backend is set as “CoreAudio”, device is “Default” Under Default Output Mode, it is set as “SDM(DSD)” On OpticalRendu end, HQplayer NAA is used. When I click play on Roon, HQplayer will prompt the following msg “! clHQPlayerEngine::Execute(): push to FIFO failed” However, if I changed the backend under Output Devices Settings within HQPlayer settings, to “NetworkAudioAdapter”, when I click play on Roon, I can see the music is playing, but no sound. HQplayer will prompt the following message “Offload: resampler=disabled convolution=disabled” I wonder if any kind souls out there can help me to solve this problem. Greatly appreciate any forms of help. Thank you.

When I click onto the downloaded file, macOS states the following “You can’t use this version of the application “HQPlayer4Desktop” with this version of macOS. You have macOS 10.15.7. The application requires macOS 11.0 or later.” I would like to test out the sound quality difference of HQPlayer in my current system.

I have read much positive feedbacks on HQplayer and I am curious to try this software on my system. However, I am using a late-2012 MacMini on MacOS 10.15.7 which the latest HQplayer 4.13.1 cannot be used. Could someone kindly advise which version of HQplayer should I use and where can I find it as I have searched in google and have yet to find anything? In addition, is the late MacMini (2.3GHz Quad-Core i7 + 16GB Ram) sufficient to run HQplayer adequately?

Interesting that you choose to direct me to find out more on the eR technical information instead of addressing my concern. My main intention is never about technicalities of the product, at least not now. All I want is to find out more about possibilities to simplify my home audio system while maintaining or enhancing my listening pleasure. Do hope this focus can be maintained. Nevertheless thank you for sharing your thoughts.
