Bitter about what exactly? HDTracks is a garbage company that rips off consumers with the majority of their releases. Just spreading the truth.

I am sure that is where the excitement will end. Probably another garbage upconvert from a CD. They should not even be allowed to operate.

What media player are you using? This is an issue with VLC, and when I switched to Audirvana (or any other player for that matter) the issue was gone.

I've heard that the sound quality of those DCC discs was because of tube colorations, but heh, they sound amazing. I still listen to the DCC Band on the Run, while the unlimited 24/96 download sits on my hard drive rarely played. Even though the same people are involved, Audio Fidelity is garbage compared to DCC (imo). They are releasing mostly subpar albums with average sound quality. Not sure its because of different equipment, but regardless, they will never see another penny from me.

Just curious, is there any conclusions to be made from those charts? The comparison interests me b/c of other forums I have read regarding source tapes for these releases. I know nothing about that sort of thing.
