Mytek and thunderbolt adaptator work like a charm on my system. (Imac and A+ 2) .Integer mode don't run with Dac so I stay on Usb to keep a better sound

Read on manual The DAC is capable of converting high resolution PCM audio up to 384 kHz, and DSDaudio (up to 256xDSD on USB2 and FW) , through high-speed USB 2.0, FireWire,AES/EBU, SPDIF, or TOSLINK. Driverless “plug and play” is provided via USB 1.1 port (forPCM audio up to 96 kHz).

Test with FW permit to see a issue. If not, you can opened a Ticket on Mytek and asked why, with a USB 2 cable you cannot used this connection.

Look to apple adaptator . You can plug from Thundherbolt port to Firewire Dac . You can also check the last Firmware and driver on Web Mytek

Do you tested whith FireWire and USB 1 ? delete the USB 2 driver and re install then restart your computer. Best regards

I don't have a NAS . Just a H.D with my audio files (most are in Flac format) My Imac is connected with WiFi.

Hi +1 I cannot push all my NEWS audio track from my external H.D. I don't know why Your a lucky guy Menu Help is only in english language... If someone can help us...
