  1. Thanks for the bit rate tip. I listen -Mostly- to 80-90's hip hop, I thought it would be easy to find FLAC's or other file types but I'm just tired of looking around, I'm terrible at research so it might just be that. Just to get one thing straight, I don't buy music, I would if I could, I download mostly, however, I might begin buying cheap albums on ebay.
  2. Thank you very much for the reply. Just remember I'm not an audiophile at all, while I do hear a difference between CD-quality audio and "better than average" mp3's, it's very minimal to me, maybe it's the headphones. Anyways I'm in no position to be buying CD's as I'm just 14, I'd love to be doing so, but I can't. I've never thought about in-ear buds, I always thought they were much inferior compared to headphones, comfort and value wise, any recommendations around the price I gave?
  3. First of all, I'm new here, so if this is in the wrong section please move it. Hello, I've registered here on the forums because I'm completely ignorant when it comes to audio and I'd like to get some advice on a purchase I'm going to be making in the near-future. Since september I've been using a pair of philips SHP1900 headphones and a zippy mp3, not exactly the greatest setup, if you can even call it that, I've always used crummy earphones so those philip headphones seemed like a break through for me. Recently I've began using mp3 files that exceed 10MB, (I'm well aware of other, better file formats but it's really hard to find for the type of music I listen to) and they sound much better than what I usually got ( 4-5 MB) as expected. I'm now planning on buying a pair of SENNHEISER HD 205 II headphones, for 40 euros and a sandisk sansa clip mp3 player, for about 20 euros, I'm sure most people on these forums haven't tried these items, since they're considered mediocre compared to other, high range, headphones. But hopefully from the specs it's possible to tell how better these are. So with 10 MB mp3 files, could I tell a big difference with these kind of headphones, and will the mp3 have any important impact? Thanks in advance. [h=1][/h]
