  1. I am also interested in how these two products work, but not so much to cleanup the USB power coming from the SOTM card. I am still very new to computer audio so forgive my lack of knowledge here if I have this wrong.... I have a Sotm txusb card feeding my Meitner MA-1 DAC. The sotm card seems to have two advantages being the ability to feed the card from an external DC source - thus isloating its power from the motherboard inside your computer. And secondly it has a switch to "turn off" the 5v USB power it spits out of its USB port. My Meitner DAC requires power via USB, so if I flick the switch on the SOTM card the DAC will not work. It would seem to me that the iUSB would allow me to turn off the USB power coming from the SOTM card and reinsert the USB power from the iUSB device to my DAC. If this is the case, I would see the benefits of the SOTM card and iUSB being complimentary to one another and not a duplication of the same task. Am I understanding this correctly or would I still need to feed power form the SOTM card to the iusb?
