  1. Will it be possible to buy the enclosure then, as I have mention, I do have the PS3 drive ?
  2. I am interested in your project but only to buy your software if possible ? I mean I have a PS3 and I can find a case for the drive thanks
  3. Don,T if I am at the right place, but here is my problem I had to rebuild my music server, so I instaled Windows 8.1. I also have a exD USB-DSD audio converter, unfortunately, the diver I have (ver 1.57) seems to be to old for Win 8 and does not intall properlly. Does anyone have a more recent driver? thanks
  4. Got a bad crash on my streaming PC, anyone still as the instrction on how to setup the eXD USB to dCS in JRiver that Albert as? Millions of thanks
  5. Well , please don't get mad at me, but by converting files, then every DAC is future proof? I don't want to be a trouble maker, I am just asking. By the way, english is not my main language and some of the post I have made may seem provoking, they are not, It's just that I do not use the proper terms, I am sorry.
  6. Well I was just saying that the MyTek is not "future proof". No DXD is not in every studio in the world, but it's there and it's making it's way, so, in the "future" we'll have it and we wll have to be able to read it, no?
  7. Actualy, there is no player that does it beside the USB input
  8. http://www.dcsltd.co.uk/page/assets/DSDoverUSB.pdf well in a way you are correct, it's not a USB ptrotocol, but it use USB, not SPDIF
  9. Well according to the specs on MyTek web site, MyTek does not support 32/384 wich is the main Studio standard actually
  10. Sorry for the delay, did'nt got the time yet to try JPlay, very busy, but I Will try it
  11. By the way, the Firewire I/O on dCS's device don' t use a "standard" protocol, if I am not mistaking, they have a propriatary protocol, so I do not think that Albert can do something.
  12. John, I don't know if SDIF-3 is backward compatible to SDIF-2, I will have to search or you can ask Albert. Alan, I use a PC with either JRiver and Foobar 2000, both soft support DSD files, Albert has provide me a PDF on How To setup everything, quite easy to do. Someone also asked me about the driver, Albert provide ASIO drivers for Windows, it work Flawlessly
