The only information I require about my music is the title and artist. All other information is recorded in a handwritten journal. What software should I use to improve the sound of the following system: 2012 Macbook Pro, SSD used solely as a music server playing I-tunes USB to Peachtree DacIt Harmon Kardon Receiver Klipsch KG 1.5 Thanks to all for your responses. This is my system: I-tunes with AIFF files>Macbook Pro solid state drive>Audioquest USB cable to Peachtree DAC-iT>Audioquest RCA cable to Harman Kardon Receiver>Klipsch KG 1.5 bookshelf speakers. My questions: 1. Are I-Tunes AIFF files comprable to CD? 2. Would it be better to purchase and download CDs than to download songs from I- Tunes? 3. What benefit would I receive by purchasing a program like Amarra,etc? Will it improve sound or simply organize my files? 4. Is there an outline/plan/steps that I should follow to improve my system?
