My concern is with the CPU temperature, with the HQP in use, around 50% cpu load, temperature is at 95 degrees, and the cooler is at 30% of capacity. Is this temperature normal? What is the acceptable limit for this model? I didn't find this information.

Will I have gained by adding Mutec to the audio chain? I have seen reports that this device works better with older Dacs where the digital input clocks were not as efficient as more modern devices, but I also see reports of great improvements even with modern dacs. How many hours did you leave the 2.9 playing? Here, after about 30 hours the shrillness in the treble ended and the sound settled down, I haven't gone back to the 2.8 yet but it's certainly playing better with the 2.9 burnt out.
