  1. I am able to move the bookshelf speaker away from the back and any side walls. I have a pair of CM1's in a smaller listening room similarly positioned and I like the sound. I don't use the port plugs for those. Mayhem, I would need six months of psychotherapy prof to taking the plunge you suggest. I am not brave enough.
  2. No I did not purchase the speakers yet.
  3. Is the sound better even at lower volumes with the more powerful amp? Or is it merely a matter of be able to crank up the music louder?
  4. Hi, I am new here and could use some help from the voices of experience. I have a listening room about 11'x16'. I want to have the following set up: Sonos Connect and Rotel CD player going into an integrated amp/DAC going to B&W CM5's. The speakers have to sit on a shelf because I can't use speaker stands in my room. I listen to my iTunes library and internet radio on the Sonos as well. My files are Apple Lossless. I was thinking of getting a Peachtree Decco 65 or Nova 125 integrated amp with DAC. I listen to easy listening music, vocals and jazz at moderate volumes. Does this sound like a good choice? Would the Decco give enough power for me to fully enjoy those speakers? Thanks in advance! Jack
