Ok, then I'll set up SSH and try out using HQP headless once again - thank you!

Hi Miska, Could this: also be the solution for my problem I posted a few weeks ago (which still exists with 3.6.1)?:

    HQ Player

Hi Miska, I’d like to report a problem which occurred with HQP 3.5.2 for Linux but not with version 3.5.1. I bought a new PC which I intend to use mainly in headless mode. When I installed the newest HQP version on it, I experienced the following: HQP could not be started while my monitor has been off. When my monitor has been on and HQP was successfully running, the app crashed a few seconds after I turned the monitor off. The described behavior was steadily reproducible and I thought its cause was a problem within my Ubuntu Studio installation. But when I finally installed version 3.5.1, everything worked as expected… If you need further information, let me know! Regards Malyq

Hi all, I have a problem with my audio playback and I hope anyone of you can help me. I am running HQP 3.5.1 on Ubuntu Studio 14.04 and am experiencing horrible screeching noise when switching between tracks, after loading a new album or changing filter or other settings in the main GUI. Sometimes everything is fine again after a further attempt to start a track or restarting the app, sometimes it needs a couple of attempts. This is my setup: PC with i7-4790T CPU / 16 GB RAM -> SOtM-SMS-100 NAA -> Audiolab M-DAC. As soon as the noise occurs, the display of the DAC shows a „Flushering Buffer“ message. When everything plays fine, the sound is the best I’ve heard by now, so I am really hoping that there exists a solution for this…
  5. Are your experiences concerning SQ improvements correlated to the use of the integer mode? Or can I expect them in a system with a DAC, which does not support it, as well? I read so many positive feedbacks about A+ and like very much the way Damien interacts with its users, so that I'd really like to purchase it. The only concern I have, is that the primary qualities of A+ only will emerge with integer mode compatible DACs...
